Bringing together elements of the landscape, the still life and the figure, this series also focuses on my interest in style and presentation.

The painting "October" brings together some of the more recognizable symbols of the season. Presented in a still life/window view format . . . and in an attempt to slow down the most fleeting of the seasons, the falling leaves are painted into the curtains. Still able to blow in the breeze, but with us for more than a season . . .
