| Jack Eaker was born August 2, 1949, on Long Island, New York. He became an artist after attending college for architecture and literature, and is self taught.
Works by Jack Eaker have appeared

Review of Books and Smithsonian. His work has been featured on
NBC-TV's "Live at 5."
Prints and other works by Jack Eaker are in numerous private and corporate collections
including: William A.M. Burden and the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.
His images have been published by Alex Rosenberg Fine Arts, New York City and
Watermill, NY; Original Print Collectors Group in New York; Key West Graphics
in Florida; and Endue Graphics of New York.

| I work almost exclusively from memory and imagination, as this is where I wish to connect with the viewer.
I consider the initial idea, the process of creation, and the finished object
to be of equal value. I also consider myself to be a painter of ideas as well
as images, and I strive to create images that stay with the viewer, long after
the work is put aside.
